Misson
The Fraternity of St. Joseph the Worker is a Catholic society that forms young men in the noble dignity of labor, sanctified by the example of our patron, St. Joseph, Guardian of the Redeemer and model of humble service. Rooted in the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church and animated by the spirit of the Gospel, we support rigorous academics and training joined with a Master Craftsman Apprenticeship Program and a fraternal brotherhood that offers spiritual formation, moral virtue, and reverence for the sacred.
Vision
We seek to cultivate artisans of both craft and character—disciples who labor not only with skillful hands but with hearts conformed to Christ. Through fidelity to truth and a deep respect for the dignity of work, our students are prepared to serve the Church, their families, and the common good with integrity, excellence, and faith.
Our goal is to create a brotherhood of faithful workers—young men with a solid foundation who embody virtue, pursue excellence in their trades, and live lives of joyful service. Through mentorship, community life, and the sanctification of labor, St. Joseph the Worker will become a model of Catholic vocational education, where tradition and innovation meet in the formation of saints and stewards.
Our students will graduate with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Technical Studies from Northshore Technical Community College while taking all required core classes from Franciscan University of Steubenville online. Students will also have the option to additionally earn an Associates of Arts in Business from Franciscan University of Steubenville online.
